Bio
Tiara has dedicated her career as a public servant to revitalizing Baltimore. As a Certified Maryland Procurement Officer (CMPO) she has previously held procurement and contract management positions with the Department of Human Services, Department of Public Safety and Corrections, and Maryland Department of Health where she was responsible for increasing local business engagement in procurement through outreach and networking.
Born, raised, and educated in Baltimore, she is a Western Dove, College of Notre Dame Gator, and a Morgan State Bear, with an undergraduate in Business and Digital Media Arts and a Master of Arts in English. As an artist and small business owner herself, she is personally vested in the continued growth and revitalization of Baltimore. Tiara believes the West North Avenue Development Authority will serve as a vessel for local business’s growth opportunities and more “Made in Baltimore” success stories and intends to play an integral part in Baltimore’s next chapter.
