Before serving with the Department of Commerce, she served as Panel Specialist for the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) within the Department of Labor. As Panel Specialist she worked alongside investigators, MHIC commissioners and the Assistant Attorney General to provide Marylanders with thoughtful and responsive customer service and assistance while they navigated the complaint/claim process through administrative hearings.
Keyonna’s state service began with the Maryland State Department of Education where she served as assistant to the Executive Director of Teachers and Professional Development. During her brief tenure at MSDE Keyonna was introduced to many state agencies and the endless possibilities of work to be done by and for Maryland.

Keyonna hopes to serve the West North Avenue Development Authority and its constituents with transparency and an openness to collaborate with all who have the intention to make the most meaningful impact on the city of Baltimore for years to come.
