Prior to joining WNADA, Selisa worked in the public and private sectors with an extensive background in community economic development. Prior to this, Selisa assisted in attracting the grocer, Global Food, to the Woodlawn community in Baltimore County.
Selisa played an instrumental role in the public housing replacement strategy for the Montgomery Housing Development Authority in Montgomery, Alabama, developing alternative housing dwelling styles and subsidies for 102 units.
Selisa has a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Human Services Administration from the University of Baltimore. Selisa is a Maryland native and lives in the Mount Washington area. She enjoys aromatherapy, concerts, and is an active board member of the Youth Empowerment Society (YES). She is dedicated to enhancing the human experience.
